Wandoo Rehabilitation Therapeutic Community

Wandoo Rehabilitation Prison Therapeutic Community (TC) is Australia’s first dedicated Alcohol and other Drug (AOD) rehabilitation prison for women in custody. Wandoo is a partnership between Cyrenian House and the Department of Justice WA and provides a supportive environment where women can break the cycle of addiction. It offers a safe, healthy, supportive and respectful place for women to recover and make positive, lasting changes.

Wandoo TC is a 77-bed facility in a campus style setting, with a large oval and surrounded by gardens.

The Therapeutic Community Program is a six month voluntary program where residents address AOD issues in a holistic manner. Women at Wandoo are supported via multi-disciplinary case-management to reduce addiction, improve mental and physical health and reduce the chances of re-offending.
